                  research in the area of molecular-macromolecular coal structure.

                 Colorado State University, Department of Chemistry, with Professor Gary E.
                 Maciel.

Research interests.


*NMR theory, high resolution NMR in liquid and solid state, spin-lattice, spin-spin
  relaxation phenomena and molecular dynamics, influence of an unpaired
  electron on the nuclear relaxation process.
*NMR and RF electronics, design and construction of magic angle devices,
  development of NMR probeheads.
*characterization of chemical structure and compositions of polymer, monomer
  dyspersity, dynamics of molecular motions in macromolecules, phase
  transitions.
*molecular-macromolecular structure of coal, dynamics of macromolecules and
  molecules in solutions, interaction of electron-donor- acceptor solvents with
  macromolecules
